An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance & Refurbishment Co-ordinator to join a highly regarded care provider with a strong reputation for quality care and continuous improvement. This is a pivotal support role within the central team, ensuring that the group's portfolio of homes remains safe, compliant, and homely through the effective coordination of maintenance and refurbishment projects.

About the roleWorking closely with senior leaders, you will be responsible for supporting a small group of care homes by managing ongoing maintenance requests, coordinating refurbishments, and ensuring that all Health & Safety and compliance checks are actioned promptly. You'll keep the Maintenance Dashboard up to date, oversee contractors, track budgets, and contribute to project planning and execution to tight deadlines.

This is a busy, fast-paced role that requires a highly organised and positive team player who is solutions-focused and commercially aware.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and administering all maintenance requests across the group's homes
  • Coordinating internal and external compliance checks, ensuring remedial actions are scheduled and completed
  • Tracking and managing refurbishment projects to agreed timelines using Gantt charts and project planning tools
  • Maintaining the Maintenance Dashboard and monitoring ticket volumes
  • Managing P&L budgets for maintenance and refurbishment projects and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Supporting Health & Safety compliance through regular risk assessments and action planning
  • Working collaboratively with contractors and internal teams to maintain high standards across the estate

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience administering maintenance processes in a multi-site environment
  • Health & Safety awareness or qualifications
  • Experience managing small teams or contractors
  • Strong administration and project coordination experience
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Clear communication skills - written and verbal
  • Able to negotiate with suppliers and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Based within 30 minutes of Sleaford

Remuneration:

  • Salary of £27,000 - £33,000 + 10% SMART objectives bonus (paid quarterly)
