Opportunity for an Experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficiency and reliability of production equipment through planned maintenance and rapid response to breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maintain optimum efficiency
Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively, minimising downtime
Diagnose and repair faults across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions
Accurately record maintenance work using a Computerised Maintenance System (CMMS)
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (essential)
17th Edition Certification (required)
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience working with pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs
IT literate with the ability to log maintenance work effectively
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
Experience in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential (training provided)
