GSL Education Lincolnshire is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to join a good, reputable school in Sleaford. This full-time role, starting in April (after the Easter break), offers a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and deliver high-quality lessons. The school have a gap in the department and although are seeking to temporarily appoint for one term, it is likely the role will continue to a fixed term contract. The school are currently looking at their timetable so all Humanities teachers are welcome to apply and they will consider, History, Geography or RE Specialists.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across various year groups.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Support students' academic and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential in the UK.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Geography, History or RE/RS.
  • Previous experience teaching Humanities subjects would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
