Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity? A school in Sleaford is seeking a passionate educator to join their team on a full-time basis, starting February half termand continuing through to the end of the academic year in July 2025.

About the Role: As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons, encouraging students to explore and understand the world around them. You will play a key role in preparing students for assessments, promoting academic success, and fostering a love for Geography.

Geography Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality Geography lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop resources and activities to make learning accessible and engaging for all students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the Humanities department and the wider school community.
  • Support students in preparing for exams, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide reports as required.

Geography Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialist in Geography or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Geography at the secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A passion for Geography and the ability to inspire curiosity in students.
  • Commitment to promoting high standards of teaching and learning.
