GSL Education are currently recruiting for a skilled Maths Teacher to work at a reputable secondary school in Sleaford. This is a full academic year supply role with the potential for full-time or part-time commitment, offering a fantastic opportunity to teach in a well-supported environment with high academic standards.

About the Role:

As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to students across the key stages. You will support learners in developing both their mathematical ability and confidence, ensuring strong progress and attainment. The school encourages innovation in teaching and offers a welcoming and collaborative staff environment.

Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Teach mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5.
  • Monitor, assess and record student progress effectively.
  • Support individual learning needs through differentiated instruction.
  • Contribute to the school’s academic success and inclusive ethos.
  • Take part in departmental planning and meetings.
  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.

Requirements for a Teacher of Maths:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE, QTLS etc.).
  • A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics for the UK school-based curriculum.
  • experience teaching secondary maths across UK schools.
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
