Senior Sales Support

Location: Slinford, Horsham

Salary : 28k-32k plus Excellent Benefits including Pension, life insurance, health schemes to include optical/dental, income protection, 25 days annual holiday

Hours: Mon -Thurs 9.00am -5.00pm *** Friday 9am-2.00pm ***

35 hour working week

The role:

  • Working closely with purchasing and sales team
  • Assisting the sales manager and production controller
  • Professionally handle incoming enquiries via telephone, email and the web.
  • Placing of purchase orders
  • Chasing deliveries
  • Support production team, documentation updates
  • Answers customer queries about existing orders
  • Resolving customer complaints
  • Expediting orders to meet monthly invoicing targets
  • Working with Epicor
  • Sending dated order acknowledgements to customers for their orders
  • Following up and communicating information on call off orders
  • Checking orders to see if stock has arrived and then releasing for stores to despatch
  • Sending & receiving emails on a daily basis
  • Cover for other areas in the department for holiday/sick
  • Speaking to customers on a daily basis
  • Ensuring customer records are kept up to date
