Hotel General Manager

We are seeking an experiencedHotel Managerfor the Pinewood Hotel, located on the outskirts of the busy town of Slough, Berkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a hotel that is part of a small independent group and lead our dedicated hotel team.

The hotel is modern, comfortable and well presented with 49 mainly double and twin bedrooms and a restaurant and bar that caters for 50 to 60 people with an open kitchen. The hotel also features meeting and event facilities with three spaces, the largest of which has a capacity for 150. With extensive grounds and terrace and private on-site parking, the hotel operates across a broad range of markets.

The ideal candidate needs to have a good level of hotel managerial knowledge and must have recent experience as a hotel general manager. You need to be able to work with a high degree of autonomy, the role reports directly to the owners and also through a management company so you need to be able to report on two levels.

We are looking for a person who has a good balanced career and is not afraid to be hands-on and support the on-site team operationally.
