We are currently recruiting for a Audit Associate to join a great accounting firm based in Slough on a permanent basis . This role offers study support and experience within the audit sector.
Responsibilities:
- Audit Planning and Execution:
- Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements, including risk assessment and control testing.
- Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures to gather audit evidence.
- Document audit work in accordance with firm standards and regulatory requirements.
- Client Interaction:
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and address queries.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports.
- Identify and report on control weaknesses and accounting discrepancies.
- Professional Development:
- Pursue professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA) and stay up-to-date with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
- Participate in internal and external training sessions.
- Contribute to the team environment.
- Adhere to all Firm policies
Our Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be able to commute to Slough
- Minimum 18 months in a similar role
- Desire to be qualified in the either of the following qualifications (ACCA or ACA)
- Accurate with a strong attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Able to handle multiple duties and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
