We are seeking a Qualified Financial Accountant to join our clients finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in handling month-end activities, supporting new projects, and providing detailed financial analysis. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct month-end activities including journal entries, report running, and KPI data analysis.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable reports.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the new AR Portal Project.
  • Provide operational data for decision-making processes.
  • Review invoices, suppliers, payments, and banking transactions.
  • Execute weekly BACS runs.
  • Develop and enhance process documentation.
  • Assist with ad-hoc activities and projects within the department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Finance or numerate degree, and an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)  
  • Proven experience in a similar financial accounting role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Good negotiation skills and effective communication abilities.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general PC literacy.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
