We are working on an opportunity within the finance department of a well-established scaling up Tech business in Slough. This organisation, backed by new investment, is positioned for significant growth, and they are seeking an experienced, all rounded Financial Controller to join their team.

About the Role:

In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of the company’s finance function, responsible for managing day-to-day operations, refining financial structures, enhancing controls, and driving automation efficiencies. You will be the key point of contact for all finance-related matters, enabling the CFO to focus on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations, including month-end close, management reporting, AP/AR, VAT, payroll, and year-end processes
  • Lead a small but efficient team, fostering a collaborative environment while setting a solid financial foundation for future growth
  • Take full ownership of the finance function, driving process improvements and playing a vital role in the company’s scale-up journey
