Previous Accountancy Practice experience is essential.

Location: Slough - allocated parking available

Salary - up to £55,000 (dependent on relevant experience)

Hybrid working (3 days per week in the office)

Are you a practical and positive Management Accountant with a solid background in accountancy practice, seeking an exciting new challenge? Cedar have partnered with a distinctive boutique accountancy firm that is on the lookout for a new addition to their Business Services Department.

Key Accountabilities:

• Production of monthly management accounts and month-end reporting.
• Investigating any discrepancies in the accounts, providing commentary and variance analysis.
• Conduct monthly analysis of overhead spend.
• Prepare month-end prepayments and accruals.
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Supervise payment runs and supplier invoice approval.
• Process bad debt write-offs and sales ledger adjustments.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous practice experience is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work to varying deadlines.
• Team player.
• Proactive and uses own initiative.
• Problem solver.
• Strong Excel skills.
