PLEASE NOTE EDUCATION EXPERIENCE IN A TRUST IS A MUST

The main responsibilities of this position will be to:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽To prepare revenue and capital annual management accounts the Trust.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽To undertake regular revenue and capital budget monitoring for the Trust.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽To provide financial information for statutory and non-颅statutory financial returns.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽To oversee the necessary procedures for the closure of the annual accounts.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽To provide information for internal/external audit as required.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽To maintain the Trust financial ledger in accordance with the ESFA chart of accounts.

The successful candidate will have

  • CAAB Accountant qualification聽
  • Highly computer literate, with a strong working knowledge of Excel, SharePoint, Outlook and Teams and the ability to manipulate data easily.
  • Working knowledge of using SAGE 200聽聽
  • Excellent Report writing skills
  • Demonstrating an excellent service culture, with a friendly, professional manner.
  • Diplomacy, patience and clear written and spoken communication.
  • Good working knowledge of VAT.
  • High levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • An interest in education and a commitment to the ethos of the school.
  • Experience of having worked in a school/ Academy Trust environment (Essential)
