As the Senior Accountant , you will be at the heart of the finance function, responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations, providing strategic financial insights, and ensuring the financial integrity of the business. This role is ideal for a proactive and hands-on finance professional who is eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions and drive growth.
- Collaborate with senior management to shape the financial strategy and operational planning.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with substantial post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
