A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Tax Partner to join one of the UK's Top 50 accountancy practices at their prestigious Thames Valley office. This position offers the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's tax practice while working with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses.

The Opportunity

As Tax Partner, you will:

  • Lead and develop a dedicated team of tax professionals
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate and private client work
  • Drive the growth of the tax practice through both compliance and advisory services
  • Work closely with the firm's head of tax and office managing partner
  • Contribute to the firm's strategic direction and business development initiatives
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level tax advisory services across corporate and personal taxation
  • Lead complex tax planning projects including corporate restructuring, share schemes, and M&A
  • Manage client relationships and oversee service delivery
  • Develop and mentor team members
  • Handle technical correspondence with HMRC
  • Identify and capitalize on business development opportunities
  • Ensure risk management and quality control across all tax services
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • CTA qualification with minimum 10 years post-qualification experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK tax legislation
  • Proven track record in tax advisory services
  • Experience managing and developing professional teams
  • Strong commercial acumen and business development skills
