Accounts Assistant:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Maintain and update financial records and databases
- Carry out bank reconciliations and process invoices
- Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
- Support the Accounting & Finance department in daily tasks and duties
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
- Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and practices
- Liaise with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Previous experience with Xero
- Good communication skills
- A keen interest in the retail industry
