We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused Air Freight Export Operator to join our clients dedicated team of logistics professionals based in Colnbrook. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the air freight industry who wants to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
Monday - Friday
9am - 5.30pm
£25k - £35k (DOE)
Duties include:
- Be able to complete a job start to finish
- Contact shippers
- Arrange collections
- Cut MAWB & HAWBs, displaying knowledge of country requirements, IATA rates & airline requirements ie operator variations,Promo references etc
- Demonstrate negotiations with airlines for maximum margin
- Complete Customs entries and have knowledge of slightly more complex procedurecodes. (IPR, BONDED,EXPORT LICENCING etc)
- Provide quotations & understand market rates
- High customer service levels throughout providing agents post flights,departure advice etc
- Additional bonus qualifications - Dangerous Goods trained & Aviation Security trained upto level CO
- Ability to provide a safety net to ensure nothing is missed
- Adhere to a fast-paced environment with strong email management & response time
- You will be communicating with a wide range of both external customers, agents as well as internal stakeholders, so strong and confident communication both verbal and written is a must
- Any MULTIMODAL knowledge outside of Airfreight is a bonus
Ideal candidate must have:
- CDS Export Experience
