Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: Slough 

Working Hours: Part Time, 3 days per week

Salary: up to £45,000 pro rata 

Are you passionate about quality and ensuring excellence in supplier performance? We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our innovative team!

Your Role

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be a key player in maintaining and improving supplier quality standards. You will work closely with our suppliers to ensure compliance, reliability, and continuous improvement in the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct supplier audits to assess quality systems, compliance, and performance
  • Develop and implement supplier quality standards and inspection processes
  • Collaborate with suppliers on corrective actions and process improvements
  • Work cross-functionally to support new product development and supplier selection
  • Analyse data to identify trends and drive quality improvements
  • Ensure adherence to industry and regulatory standards

What Were Looking For:

  • Proven experience in supplier Quality Management and Auditing
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or similar)
  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to travel for supplier audits and assessments
