Your Role

As part of our growing R&D team, you will play a key role in supporting the design, testing, and validation of our next-generation products. This exciting role will involve hands-on work with new PCBAs, firmware, and components, as well as fault-finding and prototype building. You'll collaborate closely with experienced engineers, gaining exposure to a wide array of technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate and test new product designs, including PCBAs and firmware.
  • Conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot PCBs and products.
  • Build and evaluate prototypes, components, and cable harnesses.
  • Assist in new product development and pre-compliance testing (EMC, temperature).
  • Use test jigs, upload firmware, and configure software to ensure product functionality.
  • Investigate new components and perform detailed evaluations.
What We're Looking For:
  • HND or higher qualification in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on industrial experience with electronic products.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits and the ability to read schematic diagrams.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, soldering, and electronic test equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
  • A self-motivated problem solver with good organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Must live within a reasonable commuting distance from Langley, UK.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
