An Associate Architect is required for a well-established Architectural Practice based in Slough. The successful Associate Architect will primarily be working in the residential sector, covering a wide range of typologies within this sector. Projects are run from conception through to completion, ensuring the highest safety and quality standards which will be a key part of this role. Our client has a dedicated and professional team and the successful candidate will be an integral cog within the team.

Associate Architect Job Overview

  • Work on a wide range of complex residential projects from inception to completion
  • Take responsibility on fast paced projects
  • Contribute to the development of the practice
  • Liaise with the design team to ensure projects run efficiently and effectively
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals
  • Engage and build relationships with clients
  • Help to resolve problems and issues that arise throughout construction

Associate Architect Job Requirements

  • Live within a commutable distance to Slough
  • ARB/RIBA Qualified Architect
  • Experience of working in the housing or residential sector - advantageous
  • Highly motivated and good working ethic
  • Experience with higher-risk buildings and relevant construction legislation
  • Expertise in the RIBA plan of work
  • Good experience / knowledge using NBS Chorus / Revit
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and strong team leadership abilities
