We are recruiting for a well-regarded Asbestos outfit, who have a strong presence in the South East of England. They are seeking a knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor to undertake the full range of Asbestos Surveys in line with industry standards. You will be joining a UKAS accredited company, who provides the full range of Asbestos services to their clients. They are offering competitive salaries as well as excellent benefits packages.
Candidates will ideally need to be located around: Slough, Reading, Bracknell, Hounslow, Southall, Epsom, Watford, Kingston-upon-Thames, Weybridge, Woking, Aldershot, Fleet, Camberley, Guildford, Farnham, Hook, Harrow, Wembley, St Albans, Thatcham, Didcot, Wantage, Windsor, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Oxford, Thame, Aylesbury, Stoke Mandeville.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Will hold the BOHS P402 qualification (or RSPH equivalent)
- Working knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS standards
- Excellent client-facing skills and experience
- Good written ability
- IT literate
- Happy to travel as per company requirements
The Role:
- You will be conducting Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys across a range of client sites
- Writing comprehensive survey reports
- Completing re-inspection surveys
- Safely collecting and bagging samples of ACMs
- Providing detailed technical advice to Clients
- Delivery of samples to the laboratory for analysis
- Representing the company in a professional manner
