We are seeking a hands-on AV Technician / Equipment Technician to join their growing technical team. This is a varied role ideal for someone with a strong passion for live events, sound, video, and lighting technologies.
AV Technician / Equipment Technician Role:
As an AV Technician / Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV equipment across a range of events and installations. Youll work closely with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless technical delivery every time.
AV Technician / Equipment Technician Key Responsibilities:
Install, operate, and de-rig AV equipment including sound systems, lighting, and video walls
Provide on-site technical support during events, ensuring flawless execution
Perform regular maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on AV equipment
Liaise with clients, venue staff, and project managers to ensure requirements are met
Keep up-to-date with the latest AV technology and contribute to continuous improvements
What They Are Looking For:
Essential:
Previous experience in an AV Technician / Equipment Technician role (live events, corporate AV, or similar)
Good working knowledge of sound desks, projectors, lighting rigs, and video systems
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing event demands
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Relevant AV certifications (e.g., CTS, PAT testing)
Experience with streaming setups and hybrid event platforms
