The role will assist with the development and updating of the risk registers, maintenance of procedures to control risk, along with performing second line controls.

This opportunity will enable you to develop skills in fraud investigations and ensuring controls are met for compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying, measuring and monitoring potential risks throughout the business, liaising with key stakeholders
  • Perform quarterly second line controls to monitor risks within the businesses and support the first line in creating action plans to mitigate any highlighted risks
  • Observe and participate in relevant meetings to gain an extensive overview of different departments
  • Performing research and analysis on risk topics, working in both Microsoft Excel and through SAP Business Objects

Key skills/experience

  • Degree education, ideally with Economics, Business, Finance, Maths or similar
  • Interested in working for a financial services department in their risk department
