Job Profile - Driver/ Operator
On behalf of our clients, streamline search are seeking a dedicated and versatile Driver/Operator to join a small but dynamic team. This role involves a wide range of tasks, and the ideal candidate must be adaptable to handle various responsibilities as they arise.
Driver/Operator - Key Responsibilities:
- Local Driving: Collect consignments for clients between 2 PM - 5 PM daily, with occasional additional collections.
- Courier Processing: Prepare shipments for lodging with various agents in Colnbrook.
- Agent Deliveries: Complete agent drops in Colnbrook between 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM.
- Customer Interaction: Handle incoming calls, take bookings, and liaise with agents to ensure smooth operations.
- Ad Hoc/On-Demand Tasks: Support fulfilment services such as packing brochures, assembling gift packs, and managing personalised marketing materials.
- Stock Management: Perform regular stock taking and maintain accurate client stock records.
- London Collections: Cover London collections if regular drivers are unavailable.
Driver/Operator - Requirements:
- Valid, clean driver's license.
- Must be over 25 years of age (due to vehicle insurance requirements).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and agents.
Driver/Operator - Remunerations:
- Salary 26,000 - 30,000
- Monday - Friday, 11:00 - 20:00
- 20 days holiday + Bank holiday
- A company van (Transit) will be provided for use.
