Class 1 Driver

Salary up to 37,500 depending on the chosen shift pattern + Overtime

My client freight forwarder. A transport & logistics business is seeking a highly skilled Class 1 Driver to join their team in Heathrow. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and efficient team, working on a chosen shift pattern.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate Class 1 vehicles, ensuring compliance with all road traffic regulations and company policies.
• Ensure deliveries are delivered in a timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Inspect vehicle condition before and after each trip, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide excellent customer service, interacting professionally with clients and colleagues.
• This role will require a limited amount of manual handling

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 driving license
• Current CPC (Card for Professional Competence)
• Digital tachograph card
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Must complete a Criminal Records check due to the nature of the clients business
