M4 Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV 1 night Drivers for our client in Colnbrook. This role is essential to ensuring efficient logistics and the timely transport of goods between depots and distribution centers.
Shift & Duties:
- Hours: Night shift starts between 17:00pm - 23:00pm
- Weekly Hours: 8 hours min a day
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Saturday
Competitive Pay Rates:
- Weekdays (08:00 - 19:00) -£17.89
- Weeknights (19:00 - 08:00) -£20.54
- Saturday Days (08:00 - 19:00) -£19.04
- Saturday Nights (19:00 - 08:00) -£21.69
- Overtime £26.64 after working 40 hours a week.
- Bank Holidays -£35.78
Key Responsibilities:
- Trunking Operations: Safely complete assigned trunking routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre- and post-trip checks, reporting any defects.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including delivery notes and logbooks.
- Communication: Keep the logistics team updated on delivery progress and any issues.
- Professionalism: Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively.
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) License
- Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 points on license
- Clean DBS check
- Level D / Cargo Operative training (can be completed online)
- 5-year employment history for background verification
