Vanta Staffing Are looking for Class 2 Drivers looking to join a leading healthcare logistics company based in Slough.

You'll be working Monday to Friday and will be paid £30,500.

Driving hours approx. 40 Hrs

Purpose of the role

To carry out duties within transport operations to a standard that satisfies quality expectations. To follow the procedures documented or briefed to ensure operations are completed. To adhere to statutory and company requirements for the Health & Safety of yourself and others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating company vehicles providing appropriate licences and authorisations are current.
  • Offloading and reloading of vehicles at customer’s premises and at the depot.
  • Assist with warehouse personnel to ensure delivery runs are complete before loading.
  • Show flexibility as you may be required to undertake deliveries in other areas within our distribution area.
  • Carry out daily maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of your vehicle to present a professional image.
  • Abide by statutory and legal requirements with relation to driver’s hours and tachograph regulations.
  • Present tachographs for analysis as requested by Depot Management or statutory inspectors.
  • Deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Wear at all times such safety and company uniforms as provided.
  • Be prepared to vary start times and shift patterns as required by the needs of the business.
  • Carry out all reasonable requests by Depot Management.

Experience

  • Previous multi-drop delivery operations practical experience
  • Articulate, numerate and able to communicate effectively
  • Possession of appropriate and current licenses with no more than 6 penalty points
  • The physical ability to complete operational tasks
  • Smart and personally well presented.
  • Must have held a Class 2 (C) license and full UK drivers licence
