As part of our expansion plans, we are currently seeking an experienced Export Manager to join our team. Position Overview The Export Manager will be a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the export function. This role is ideal for an experienced export supervisor who is ready to take on a managerial position while still being hands-on in performing 360 functions of exports. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the export team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end export process, including documentation, customs compliance, and coordination of shipments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of changes in export regulations, ensuring the company's export activities comply with legal requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve the performance of the export team.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to streamline processes and enhance overall company performance.
  • Manage and control budgets related to export operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
 Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience in export operations, with a background in freight forwarding.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping documentation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform 360 functions of exports while managing a team.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
