Sonic Summary

We are looking for a Robot Cell Leader to oversee the operation of a robotic cell in our shot peening facility.
The role is a temp-to-perm position with a salary range of £35k - £45k, depending on experience.
Candidates should have experience in operating robotic systems and programming components, preferably with ABB Robotics or Fanuc.
Responsibilities include managing production schedules, setting up robotic machines, and training junior staff.
Experience with Almen strips and intensity curves is preferred for this position.

Overview - We are seeking a skilled Robot Cell Leader to join our team in overseeing the operation of robotic cell within our shot peening facility.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of our robotic system.

This is a tem to perm role paying £35k - £45k depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a robotic peening machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

• Program and develop components on the Robot machine when needed.

• Manage the production schedule of the cell.

• Off-line programming using ABB Robotics

• Train and mentor junior staff on operating robotic systems Skills

• Proficiency in ideally in ABB Robotics and/or Fanuc

• Ability to use hand tools for maintenance and repairs

• Experience with setting Almen strips and intensity curves is preferable
