Draftsman - Berkshire - up to 40,000 + Benefits - Ref 1853
I am currently recruiting for an Draftsman to work for an engineering organisation based in the Berkshire. Salary up to 40,000 + Benefits.
The organisation are leaders within their specialist market and have been established for over 25 years.
To support growth within the business, they now have the need to appoint an Draftsman on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Draftsman, you will be working in a small team on draftsman. You will creating designs from briefs, these will be either word briefs to 2D drawings or even 3D drawings. You will be designing for a Laser Cutting machine which cuts various thickness of stainless steel. On top of the design you will then be responsible for creating the offline program for the laser cutting operatives so that they are able to run the machine.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience as a draftsman or similar
- Laser cutting or sheet metal background
- Solidworks or similar 3D package experience
