Day To Day:

  • Hand lapping using specialised tools
  • Masking and grooving Mating Rings using PC-operated masking machines and grit blasting
  • Operating laser machines to create spiral grooves
  • Inspecting parts using optical flats and interferometers
  • Conducting spin testing of grooved Mating Ring

Role Requirements:

  • A background in mechanical work - machining, engineering, or similar hands-on roles
  • A keen eye for detail and precision
  • Ability to use a PC for data entry and machine operation
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
