Your Mission:In this pivotal role, you will oversee the service operations at our client's branch, ensuring that all service contracts, planned maintenance, and corrective works are executed efficiently and cost-effectively. You'll be the driving force behind day-to-day operations, implementing effective planning systems to manage key aspects of service management for Passenger Boarding Bridges and related equipment at Heathrow Airport and beyond.
Airside Requirements:As this role involves airside responsibilities at International Airports, candidates must fulfil the following requirements:
- Provide five years of continuous satisfactory references to obtain a full airside pass.
- Demonstrate eligibility to work in the UK.
- Undergo a clear criminal records check (cost covered by the employer)
As this role requires the candidate to be Airside at Airports, we are required to complete the checks listed below:
- 5-year continuous satisfactory references (Requirement to obtain a full airside pass).gaps in work history may require the company to conduct checks on candidate's tax history paid in order to verify history. Gaps in history of 28 days or more will mean an additional reference will be required from a non-family member to verify as a referee.
- Evidence of eligibility to work in the UK.
- Clear criminal records check (dated within last 10 weeks, cost met by employer)
- Full UK Driving Licence
Additional Information:
- Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday, with occasional night shifts (20:00 - 05:00, Sunday to Thursday) based on workload.
- Annual Leave: 20 days per year plus 8 statutory bank holidays.
- Salary Range: £45,000.00 - £52,000.00 per annum, commensurate with experience and knowledge.
- Pension Contribution: 3% from the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning of Preventive, Corrective, and Maintenance works.
- Coordinate works, materials, and resources with the planning team.
- Engage with clients to provide updates and present monthly KPI reports.
- Identify operational improvements and offer strategic advice.
- Investigate issues while collaborating with engineering teams both in the UK and Spain.
- Liaise with clients and project engineers to ensure seamless communication.
- Supervise engineering and technical staff to uphold service standards.
- Collect and analyse performance and safety data.
- Draught comprehensive reports and documentation to maintain clarity and transparency.
What You Bring:
- Engineering experience is a plus.
- Relevant managerial qualifications are advantageous.
- Proven experience managing a service department or similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge, especially in the airport sector, is a bonus.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
