Sonic Summary

info
  • The role is for an experienced Learning and Development (L&D) specialist focused on creating and delivering blended learning solutions for a rapidly scaling business.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in L&D and project leadership, demonstrating both strategic and delivery capabilities.
  • The position offers a competitive salary, which is not explicitly stated but is implied to be attractive given the responsibilities and the company's growth.
  • Key responsibilities include designing innovative learning content, analyzing learning needs, and building strong stakeholder relationships to enhance leadership development programs.
  • This standalone role requires an autonomous leader who is passionate about L&D and willing to travel as needed for effective delivery.

Are you project focused, strategic and an architect of blended Learning solutions for a whole business, but also still keen to deliver? Would you like to be???

We're honoured to be exclusively partnering with this impressive and established, but rapidly scaling business in the local area in what is a new role to the HR function and L&D offering. Already a function with surprisingly impressive product range offerings to the business where L&D is concerned, this role reflects the organisation's desire to continually push the agenda and is a newly created role for an experienced expert in their field to take pride and ownership to develop.

Situated in an industry sector not always known for its forward thinking, this business bucks trends and is hence an exciting place for an ambitious L&D operator to continue their career. The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to work with an impressively experienced (and lovely) mentor who thrives off innovative ideas, new tech and multi-channel offerings where learning and development is concerned - not an opportunity to be missed if you're an aspiring L&D specialist, or passionate about the function and seeking to move into specialism.

You must be equally strategically and delivery minded as this is a standalone existence in the short term, which while heavily supported and championed, needs an autonomous leader to succeed.

Key duties include:

  • Conceive, design and deliver new and innovative packages of learning content, utilised by employees across the entire scope of seniority.
  • Analyse learning requirements and methodological improvements through stakeholder relationships and partnerships, researching the reality of what the employee really wants/needs to make intiatives effective.
  • Explore and utilise data extensively to influence and evidence success of new ideas, or explore where improvements of learning offerings can be made.
  • Develop the existing emerging talent/early careers offering to ensure best in practice opportunities are on offer to safeguard the future of the business.
  • Build outstanding stakeholder relationships, in developing an enviable leadership and management development programme for an SME.

In a nutshell, this is a leader....the curator of the plans and the delivery expert - but also someone who sees a vision for growing an L&D department for the future. It is absolutely a role that someone could step up to, although your passion for L&D must be legitimately evidenced and you should be able to demonstrate previous project leadership experience.

There will be some travel required in this role to ensure the successful delivery of subject matter that sits in house, rather than with an external supplier and hence applicants must be able to commit to that to be considered.

Whoever you are, we're keen to hear from you - our client is open minded as to relevant backgrounds for this exceptional new opportunity (although a mixture of both blue and white collar workforce experience would be preferred), where hybrid working is on offer following a successful onboarding period.
