We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our team, working across various secondary schools in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school environment and make a real difference to students' learning.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task and engaged.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and activities, following clear instructions provided by the school.
- Maintain a positive and safe learning environment, managing student behaviour effectively.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student engagement and progress.
- Adapt to different school environments and age groups.
- Be able to follow safeguarding procedures.
What We Are Looking For:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- A flexible and adaptable approach.
- A genuine interest in working with young people.
- The ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
- Previous experience working with young people (desirable).
