Job Description:Â The Year Lead will be responsible for overseeing the academic and pastoral development of students in their year group. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing a team of teachers and support staff.
- Monitoring and supporting student progress and well-being.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve student outcomes.
- Communicating effectively with parents, staff, and external agencies.
- Contributing to the wider school community and upholding the school's values and ethos.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a school setting.
- Strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
