Academics LTD is working with a specialist SEN school in Slough that offers personalized care for children aged 5 to 18 with mental, emotional, and social challenges. We are seeking an enthusiastic and supportive Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Understanding of Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Ability to support children with a variety of needs including Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, behavioural challenges, sensory issues, and physical disabilities
  • Passion for helping students develop emotional regulation and social skills
  • Interest in working with children or in SEN
  • You are determined, confident, and motivated

This position offers the chance to work closely with qualified SEN practitioners and psychologists, gaining valuable hands-on experience. It's ideal for Psychology or Criminology graduates looking to pursue a career in Mental Health or Education. While previous experience is welcome, it's not required-recognised qualifications include a Degree, Level 3 qualification, or any prior work with SEN students.
