SEMH Teaching Assistant Wanted for Primary School in Slough

Are you passionate about supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Slough. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, understanding, and ready to make a real difference in the lives of children with SEMH needs.

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:? Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs.? Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow.? Assist teachers in delivering lessons while adapting support to meet students' emotional and educational needs.? Support students with managing their emotions, behaviors, and developing positive social skills.? Help with the implementation of individual learning plans (ILPs) and monitor student progress.

Requirements:

• Available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.
• DBS checked or willing to apply for one.
• Experience working with children in the UK is essential.
• Live in the Slough area or be able to commute.
