Starting from September 2025, we are looking for a Spanish Teaching Assistant to support Spanish classes at a secondary school in Slough. This is a full time position beginning in September 2025 and continuing until the end of the academic year in July 2026. Spanish must be the first language of the applicant.

The successful candidate will provide in class support to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, covering Year 7 to Year 10, during their Spanish lessons. The school is committed to continuous improvement, with dedicated teachers who encourage students to achieve their best. The aim is to foster a creative and engaging learning environment that inspires students to enjoy their education.

We are seeking a dedicated Spanish Teaching Assistant who is fluent in spoken, written, and reading Spanish. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about making a positive impact on students and able to follow guidance from the Special Educational Needs Coordinator. A passion for working with students and an aspiration to become a teacher in the future would be advantageous.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising students in the classroom
  • Completing tasks assigned by teachers and the line manager
  • Being open to working with students who have special educational needs
  • Demonstrating flexibility in taking on Teaching Assistant responsibilities
  • Being punctual and reliable
