My client are specialists within the power generation industry and are growing at a rapid pace and therefore are now currently looking to make a new addition to their service team. The ideal candidate would have previous field based experience this would include install, service and repairs of diesel generators.
Duties &
Responsibilities of a Generator Engineer: * Carry out preventative maintenance in the field on a variety of diesel generators * Experience in load testing and load banking of all generators * Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical faults including control systems * Qualified in wiring control panels and ATS panels, such as, Deep Sea Electronics * Generate detailed reports for repairs completed and further works required using Protean software * Be prepared to discuss with customers any servicing or fault queries * Work with full adherence to the company and customer Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies * Professional communication internally and externallySkills and Qualifications for a Generator Engineer: * Applicant must have several year’s experience in all types of generator repairs, maintenance, and electrical control panels.
* Full UK driving licence * Strong analytical and fault-finding skills * A team player with a can-do attitudePackage Available for Successful Candidate: * Basic salary between £28,000 - £36,000 * Company Vehicle + Fuel Card * Generous Holiday Allowance * Overtime &
