Responsibilities:- Support and contribute to a team effort for continuous product improvement and enhancement.
- Generate concise requisition requests, site isolation requests, etc.
- Occasionally attend site to carry out surveys (training provided).
- Perform administrative tasks to enable a project to be delivered effectively.
- Produce custom product design solutions for quotation support and product manufacture using AutoCAD in accordance with agreed design principles and procedures.
- Produce 'works orders' to communicate design and component specifications to other teams within the business and external suppliers.
- Assist the design process to turn ideas into detailed plans, ready for implementation.
- Involvement in all aspects of the process from providing quotes to making site visits.
Skills / Abilities:- Competent using different technologies.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to learn and apply fire alarm PAVA and associated standards to design drawings (training provided).
- Able to work in the office (Farnham Royal) for the majority of the time.
- Willing to attend Client sites.
- Motivated and willing to broaden the role to progress into project engineering.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff at varying levels throughout the company.
- Ability to work or learn to work with Navisworks 3D models.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
