Are you an experienced Environmental & Sustainability Professional? Fancy the opportunity to work from home and be involved in aiding in the success of a major building project near London?

First Task Professional are delighted to be working with a major player in the delivery of new build data centres globally to recruit for a part-time Environmental & Sustainability consultant to join their team who are currently delivering a hyper-scale data centre near London, for a minimum period of 6 months starting as soon as possible.

Working remotely as part of the wider Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality team - you will be responsible for collating information on the amounts of waste being generated on the project and methods of disposal including materials, utilities and fuel etc. You will also be responsible for producing monthly reports and advising on how waste management and consumption levels on the project can be improved in order to help our client meet their Carbon Footprint targets.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working on major construction projects albeit this is not a necessity (albeit it would help as it's a big job!). You must be Environmental degree qualified and have previous demonstrable experience in an Environment and Sustainability management position.

Working pattern for this role would be 2 days per week remote working with visits to site once a fortnight.

This role has been classified as outside of IR35 and can be worked by Ltd Co contractors.
