FP Finance Analyst

We are seeking a diligent FP Finance Analyst to join our team. This role is integral to supporting annual planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics for our business units and central functions. The successful candidate will be pivotal in developing and implementing analytical standards for reporting and modelling KPIs, as well as serving as a key financial liaison across various departments.
Day to day of the role:
- Create daily dashboards and weekly management reports to inform decision-making.
- Make commercial recommendations on customer contract terms and conditions, and supplier agreements to maximise margin potential.
- Produce detailed financial analysis for product and service line P&Ls, business unit P&Ls, customer and project P&Ls, and overall business cases for new service offerings.
- Investigate variances in financial reports and recommend corrective actions to ensure financial integrity.
- Provide accurate cost information to support strategic decision-making.
- Play a key role in the budget setting process, collaborating with all departments on annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Contribute significantly to month-end and year-end close processes, supporting both financial and management accounting teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build complex financial models.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-finance personnel.
- Exceptional commercial awareness and analytical acumen.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
