About the Job

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and driving efficiencies across the business. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise and leadership skills.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting the Head of Finance with financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Overseeing monthly financial closing and reporting
  • Ensuring accurate balance sheet reconciliations and VAT filings
  • Managing payroll processes, including statutory reporting and HMRC submissions
  • Analysing financial data to provide key insights for business decision-making
  • Assisting with year-end audits and preparing audit schedules
  • Leading and mentoring a team of assistant accountants
