Our client, a leading organisation in the field, is seeking a skilled operator to join their dynamic logistics team.Responsibilities:* Follow all Health & Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.* Report any Health & Safety issues to your line manager promptly.* Issue material to the line side efficiently.* Use Syteline procedures to ensure proper handling of materials.* Collect bulk material from the machines and locate it in the designated areas.* Conduct weekly stock checks of bulk material to maintain accurate inventory.* Move material for quality technicians and supervisors as required.* Sort waste into the correct waste stream to contribute to a sustainable environment.* Communicate with the warehouse and logistics manager regarding waste collection needs.* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the yard and line side.* Load waste material onto appropriate collection vehicles.* Complete all necessary paperwork for collections, deliveries, and Goods In.* Ensure all finished goods are checked, packed, and loaded as per the collection schedule.* Assist with Goods-In loading, booking, and put away.* Keep all equipment clean, tidy, and report any issues.* Be open to other tasks as requested by your line manager.Essential Skills and Characteristics:* Be a flexible individual who is adaptable to different work situations.* Possess good communication skills in both written and spoken English.* Hold valid forklift counterbalance, reach, and pivot/Bendi certificates.* Have the ability to lift up to 20 Kgs.* Work well independently as well as part of a team.* Excel at multitasking and prioritise tasks efficiently.* Possess basic computer knowledge.* Ability to read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures.* Willingness to work in a shift model (2 or 3 shifts), totaling 42.5 hours per week (paid 40 hours).* Flexibility to work overtime on weekends, if required.Location and Relationships:* This position is based at our client's facility in Slough, UK.* You will be an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibility.Key Initiatives:* Adhere to the organisation's core values.* Complete company-provided safety and quality training.* Compete the ERP systems training to ensure efficient workflow.
