Sonic Summary

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Import Coordinator responsible for managing customs regulations and logistical processes.
The role involves completing customs clearance entries, monitoring Duty and VAT, and liaising with various internal departments and Airlines.
Candidates must have previous Courier Import experience, as well as BIRDS proficiency and experience with CDS; Descartes experience is desirable.
The position offers a salary range of £28,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, with an immediate start available in the Slough area.
The work schedule is Tuesday to Saturday from 07:30/08:00 to 16:00/16:30, including a 30-minute lunch break.

Our client is looking for a highly experienced Import Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing the logistical processes associated with adhering to customs regulations. You will perform and complete daily customs clearance entries start to finish, you will monitor Duty and VAT using internal software, you will communicate with all relevant internal departments, liaise with Airlines for transfers and deal with enquiries. You will arrange airline collections for transfer to ETSF, complete weekly bond checks, liaise with HMRC and other government bodies, and be able to self-manage/assist management when needed. Previous Courier Import experience is essential as well as BIRDS experience and Proficiency in using CDS. Experience with Descartes is desirable, as is NCTS - T1’s.

Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 07:30/08:00 - 16:00/16:30 with 30 minute lunch break.
