We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded logistics company, looking for an experienced Air Export Clerk to join their dynamic Exports team in Colnbrook. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual with air export and pharma experience to contribute to a leading company’s success.

Working Hours:Office-based, Monday to Friday09:00 - 18:00

Benefits

  • On commencement 29 days holiday per holiday year
  • including bank or public holidays. Pro rata to actual
  • months worked during the holiday year of starting.
  • Vary for part-timers working fewer than 5 days per
  • week.
  • Holiday increases by one day per complete year of
  • service up to a maximum of an additional 4 days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and providing quotes to clients.
  • Managing direct communications with shippers and overseas agents.
  • Handling Exports Customs Entries and invoicing.
  • Overseeing and completing varied export jobs from start to finish.
  • Occasionally arranging road freight shipments, including T1 declarations and entries.
  • Participating in an Export on-call rota, one week in every 10 (remote weekend coverage from 6pm Friday to 9am the following Friday).

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Life sciences knowledge and experience essential.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in air exports.
  • Experience with Boxtop or Sequioa is advantageous but not required (training provided).
  • Level CO AvSec training is desirable, but not essential (training available).

Personal Skills:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Well-organised, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Benefits:

  • 29 days of holiday per year (including bank or public holidays), pro-rata for part-time workers.
  • Holiday entitlement increases by one day for each full year of service, up to a maximum of 4 additional days.
