About Us: Reed Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Freight Clerk to join our clients dynamic team in Colnbrook, Slough. If you have a passion for logistics and a keen eye for detail, this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Road Knowledge: Utilize your extensive knowledge of road networks to ensure efficient transportation planning.
• Documentation: Handle the preparation and management of CMRs and GMRs.
• Customs Entries: Manage export and import entries, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Billing and Invoicing: Raise documents and process billing accurately. Check purchase invoices for accuracy.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to our clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Learning and Development: Continuously improve your skills and knowledge in freight and logistics.
• Occasional Exports and Air Freight: Assist with air freight operations as needed.
• Software Proficiency: Use Cites, Sequoia, Boxtop, and COD Commerce for various logistics tasks.
• Driving: Must be a driver to facilitate transportation and logistics operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of road networks and logistics.
• Experience with CMRs, GMRs, and customs entries.
• Proficient in raising documents and handling billing processes.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
• Experience with export and import entries.
• Familiarity with logistics software such as Cites, Sequoia, Boxtop, and COD Commerce.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive.
