A medium-sized freight forwarder near Heathrow is seeking a Junior Operations Clerk for their Artwork/high-value shipment team.
The role involves taking bookings, arranging collections and deliveries, handling imports and exports, and managing airline bookings and customs documentation.
Candidates should have previous freight forwarding experience and familiarity with import/export customs entries, along with a steady work history.
The position requires good customer service skills, PC literacy, and a willingness to learn.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:30, with a competitive salary offered based on experience.

My clients a friendly medium sized freight forwarder based within the Heathrow area,,they are currently recruiting for Junior operations clerk to join their growing Artwork/ high valuable shipment team!

Duties would include:

Taking bookings
Arranging collections and deliveries
Dealing with both imports and exports
Airline bookings
Handling documents such as licenses, ATA Carnets and customs documentation
Tracking shipments
Data entry
General admin

Skills required:

Previous freight forwarding experience
Import/export customs entries experience
Steady work history
Keen to learn!
PC literate
Good customer service skills

Working hours:

Monday- Friday 0900-1730
