To process, prepare, assay and hallmark articles submitted to the branch office, in accordance with in-house procedures.
Duties will include:
- Process and prepare goods for Assay and Hallmarking
- Carry out remedial work / minor repairs on jewellery
- Will involve some heavy lifting
- Working closely with technicians on precious metals
- Working towards deadlines and varied day
Key skills required:
- Have good manual dexterity
- Patient and methodical
- Able to solve practical problems effectively
- Trustworthy and reliable - you will be working with high valuable goods
- A good communicator with interpersonal skills - you might be explaining objects have failed the assay test
