Hunter Gatherer AHP qis excited to offer a vacancy for an experienced Mammographer to join a radiology directorate at an NHS trust based in Slough. We are recruiting a Band 7 Mammographer with strong technical proficiency, patient care expertise, and a passion for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This is an opportunity to join a leading breast screening unit within the NHS. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality mammography screening/diagnostic procedures in a busy radiology service

  • Ensure accurate image capture, maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort

  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care for all patients

  • Take part in quality assurance and safety protocols to maintain clinical excellence

Requirements:
  • HCPC Registered Mammographer with appropriate professional qualification

  • Significant post-qualification experience in breast screening unit

  • Expertise in performing a variety of mammographic procedures, including screening and diagnostic

  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary team
