Customs Coordinator

We are recruiting for a Customs Coordinator to work within an established, global company. You will be office based within the Heathrow office, working full time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm and with a salary of 25k-30k Per Annum (depending on your experience).

Duties will include:

  • Correctly complete customs import declaration forms
  • Accurately complete all invoicing for Key Account traffic
  • Procurement of freight rates
  • Immediately report any errors with customs forms to line managers/key account
  • Ensuring VAT is charged correctly upon invoicing and any insurance claims are handed efficiently
  • Ensuring all quotations are recorded on the system
  • Maintaining communication with clients, reporting new sales leads and handover of shipments
  • Credit control duties - following up on late customer payments
  • Generating reports when required
  • Assisting management with additional ad hoc duties and providing holiday and sickness cover when required

To be successful, you must have at least 2 years' experience working within Exports/Imports and Customs Compliance and regulations, along with working knowledge of Microsoft packages. You must have a good eye for detail as you will be required to complete spot checks on a weekly basis to ensure all documents are in order, and everything is running smoothly.
